Review: Bon’s Off Broadway

I figure that I don’t only have to stick to food that I have made in my blog.

My friend and I have been meaning to go out for breakfast ever since we saw our History teacher eating pancakes and strawberry sauce. We decided to try out a greasy-spoon establishment, Bon’s Off Broadway.

I ripped this picture off the internet.

While waiting for our food, my friend and I browsed the many posters, the most up-to-date one being the Twilight poster. And we had plenty of time to look, because our food took forever.

A very classy basket of Half ‘n’ halfs and one lone strawberry jam.

After waiting so long, I couldn’t restrain myself from tucking into the pancakes before taking a shot. Note the lack of strawberry sauce.

When I first looked at the menu, I was very disappointed to find that there was no strawberry sauce on the menu, as that had been my main reason for going out for breakfast.

The other thing that really put me off the restaurant was this weird smell that would come in bursts. It was like stale cigarillo smoke or something, and it really reduced my appetite.

Otherwise, it only set me back $5 and that’s only because I had juice. If the food hadn’t taken so long, I might give it another chance.
